About SEA Cup Tournament

The SEA Cup is a prestigious regional soccer tournament for junior youth in South-East Asia. Originally founded in 1988, the SEA Cup is on tested between four youth soccer leagues in the region:

• Singapore: ANZA Soccer
• Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur Youth Soccer
• Thailand: Bangkok Soccer League
• Local guest teams

The age groups represented are U13, U15 and U18. The squads are international and comprise of multiple nationalities. The matches are 11 a side and the competition takes the format of a round robin over a weekend in February to April each year.

At 2015, for the first time, U9 and U11 age groups will be competing. The U9, U11 matches are 7 a side and the competition takes the format of a round robin, and then Play Offs (Semi Final and Final).

Each year the SEA CUP takes place at another country, and hosted by the respective local soccer club. This year 2015, the SEA Cup games will be hosted in Thailand by Bangkok Soccer League.
